For years, I have grappled with my calling and how to move forward with the next steps. But isn’t there a sweetness in doing things scared. So here I am shaking in my Dr. Marten’s, but ready to share the truth and identity crafted by the only one who could instill it.

While attending a small group, I got into a deep conversation about how I’ve always been made to feel like I’m just “too much” for people. I’ve always tried to tone down my personality and my style in order to be more palatable to those around me. Out of such sweetness, I’m hit with the response from a friend “isn’t it crazy how people can misinterpret art.” BOOM…there it was.

BUT how true is that statement. YOU are ART that has been misinterpreted by the people around you. YOU are beautiful and confident JUST AS YOU ARE. You are ART that’s been designed with a PURPOSE. There is no mistake in your identity as it wasn’t founded in those around you. It was purely and innocently crafted by your creator. HE is the only one that can change what the art’s purpose and meaning is. GOD is so in love with YOU and everything he has called YOU to be. YOU are not lost or forgotten…
